So long, and adios 2007!
We're fresh off what seems like several weeks of no school and work and today is D-Day.. the day we have to begin normal life again. What have we been up to?
We celebrated the holiday season with loved ones (and yes, Uncle Frank is roasting a marshmallow on Chrstmas for Jackson... he reasoned "You have a fire, I know where the sticks are and I think my Mom hid chocolate somewhere.")
The boys enjoyed the outdoors (YES, nothing better than hot tubbing outside, in the winter, in Minnesota!)
And, of course a lot of hockey (we won a game vs. Elk River - how weird was that?)
I also learned that hockey boys no longer go to bed at midnight on New Year's Eve. We had a great group of kids (most of Tyler's team).... however, the actual bedtime still remains a mystery. Suffice it to say it was the wee hours of the morning.
So what are we looking for in 2008? It's simple: health, balance and peace. We're looking forward to speaking to each other with kindness more often, eating at home more and spending time with those we love. So, here we come 2008! Cheers to '08!
